Protection that survives the wash.
Most sun shirts get their UPF from a chemical finish. Finishes wash out, usually inside a season, right about when you stop checking. Ours is structural — the protection is in how the yarn is woven, so it blocks 98% of UV on the first wear and on the fiftieth.

Seams routed off the load points.
Flat-locked, and moved clear of where a pack strap or a sling rides. Four hours under load is where a cheap shirt turns into a hotspot.

Cut to train in.
Close through the chest and shoulders without pulling. Sleeves long enough to stay put under a strap, body long enough to stay tucked.
